| Description: | L-3 Communications, Applied Signal and Image Technology (L-3 ASIT) is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for our Linthicum Heights, MD location. The Sr. Program Manager will be responsible for the financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned programs. Will coordinate proposal preparation, draft statements of work and specifications, develop estimation of product/service costs, perform negotiation and administration of contracts. The Sr. Program Manager will establish program plans and milestones and monitor adherence to programs master plans and schedules. |
| Duties: | • Responsible for the coordination, monitoring, scheduling, pricing and technical performance of multiple, simultaneous assigned programs.
• Negotiates contracts and contractual changes with customers, major suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinates preparation of proposals, plans, specifications and financial conditions of contracts.
• Maintains all documentation related to the project such as schedules, milestones, costs, problems encountered, etc.
• Performs administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules and making decisions related to the project.
• Supports new business development activities to help grow the organization.
• Applies metrics to ensure adherence to master project plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems.
• Provides direction, supervision and guidance to a team of technical engineers/support staff for assigned projects.
• Participates in customer presentations to present and secure new business opportunities.
• Maintains regular contact (phone, in-person, electronic, etc.,) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible to maintain all appropriate program management documentation and to ensure compliance with target dates.
• Provides consistent and accurate communication to all involved parties regarding project status.

| Qualifications: | • BS/BA in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or closely related technical area required.
• Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in tactical ground, surface or airborne surveillance systems.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in complete management, design, development and support of projects as well as responsibility for the financial, contractual, customer service and formal presentations related to the project.
• Experience dealing with multiple intelligence agencies highly desired.
• Secret clearance required. TS/SCI desired.
